Go Up to About the Object Inspector Index
An event handler is a form method attached to an event. The event handler executes when that particular event occurs. When you use the Object Inspector to attach code to a component event, the product generates a procedure header and a
begin...end block for you.
For example, the product generates the following block for a button click event:
procedure TForm1.Button1Click(Sender: TObject); begin end;
The code you write inside the code block executes whenever Button1 is clicked.
