File > New > FireMonkey Mobile Application - C++ > Blank Application

Creates the framework for an HD FireMonkey mobile application and opens the FireMonkey Mobile Form Designer, displaying the base form (FMX.Forms.TForm).

For every FireMonkey mobile application, the form file has the extension .fmx.

You can set the target platform for an HD FireMonkey mobile application to be any of the following:

  • Android for an Android device connected to your system or an Android emulator installed on your system.
  • iOS Simulator running on the Mac. (Object Pascal only)
  • iOS Device connected to the Mac by USB cable.
  • 32-bit Windows useful for testing.

For a Object Pascal HD FireMonkey mobile application, the uses section of the .pas file contains the following units (including unit scope names):
